Welcome to the "Small and Mighty" Marana Rotary Club -- home club of District 5500 Governor Don Jorgensen, past District 5500 Governor Randy Brooks, and members who are business owners, professionals, non-profit community leaders, and retired folks not ready to retire from life.
The Rotary Club of Marana was chartered in 1988, just one year after the Town of Marana incorporated in 1987. Our roots reach deep in this part of the county where we sit just northwest of Tucson. Some of us remember when cotton fields stretched far and wide, the cement plant marked the turnaround for driver's ed classes, and for $10 an hour, you could explore on horseback (without a wrangler) the undeveloped foothills of the Tucson Mountains
Of course since then, a lot has changed, much of it for the better. What hasn't changed is the Rotary of Club of Marana's commitment to community service locally, nationally, and globally. We are community members who share Rotary International's vision that recognizes the ties that bind us extend beyond borders. Together, we can lift up our neighbors near and far through community service, business connections, and social interaction.
We welcome visitors to our hybrid meetings on the first three Tuesdays of the month at 7 a.m.. Our fourth Tuesday meetings are via Zoom only so we can conduct club business. Stop by and see us sometime, we'd love to show you what we can do together as Rotarians.
