- Scholarships for students at MCAT, MVHS, MHS, and Sentinel High School potentially $1,000 each, awarded with teacher nominations.
- A partnership with the Kino Rotary Club to support a cataract clinic in Kenya.
- Funding CPR classes provided by NWFD for students in Marana Unified School District (MUSD).
- Paying off student lunch balances at one or two MUSD schools where students receive meals labeled as "free," but the district is left with approximately $80,000 in unpaid meal costs.
- A $2,000 contribution to Treasures for Teachers to support classroom needs.
- Providing books for the WIC program to distribute to families in need.
These ideas are being considered for funding during the remainder of the current Rotary year and into the next. These topics will be revisited at next week's hybrid meeting.
