Preliminary numbers from the 2025 Tour de Cookie ride show that our fundraising event was a wild success.
Location: Northwest Fire Department Training Facility
Attendees: Most Members
We began with the Pledge then Don Jorgensen gave us a brief history of the Four Way Test of What We Say and Do. A Rotarian in the Chicago area owned a failing furniture store business. To save his business he wrote and had his employees follow the mantra of how customers should be treated. He credited this culture to saving his business from bankruptcy. In 1943 the test was adopted by Rotary and in 1954 the father of the Four Way Test served as International President for all of Rotary worldwide!

A discussion of Tour de Cookie was next. Gross revenue stands at 27K plus and a 16K plus profit is anticipated. An expansion of riders and other ideas were briefly discussed. Harold has asked that any photos taken during the event be sent to him for publication on our website.
As a club we are anticipating a small increase in dues. Also, we would like generic business cards made up for members with our  website address but no phone numbers as an aid in recruitment. Also, we discussed social activities for the fifth Tuesday of the month. Maybe a Trivia night at Native Wings which we enjoyed a few years go.

Next week meeting is virtual only.
